The PSL League has once again confirmed that it ranks among the strongest youth competitions in Central Europe.
For the 2013 age group, one of the most prestigious and renowned youth tournaments in the world – the Pee-Wee Cup in Quebec – was held for the 66th time this year, bringing together the best teams in the world at the highest AAA level.
At the tournament, the Elite Hockey Slovakia team, built on players from the PSL League, achieved a historic success by winning the largest youth hockey tournament in the world.
This victory is not only a success for one team, but also a clear confirmation of the systematic and high-quality professional work that has been carried out in the PSL League over the long term.
A total of 37 players competing in the PSL League took part in the tournament, stepping onto the ice at the highest international level in Quebec. This number alone demonstrates the strength, competitiveness, and international recognition of the PSL League.
The professional development system within the PSL League enables players, from a young age, to adapt to the highest pace, intensity, and demands of modern hockey. The success in Canada clearly shows that the level of the PSL League is competitive not only regionally, but also internationally.
The PSL League is proud that its players have demonstrated their readiness and quality on the biggest stage in the world.
